A+ for beginners includes three different courses:
1. CS140 -- Introduction to Operating
Systems
Covers concepts and commands of the Microsoft
Windows operating system. Emphasis is placed
on fixed disk management, input/output control,
batch file processing, software installation,
customization, and Windows environments.
MS-DOS, Windows, and management utilities are used.
2. CS227 -- PC Hardware Fundamentals and
Repair
Provides students with theory and hands-on
exploration towards the maintenance and repair of
personal computers. Students will become
familiar with the necessary tools and equipment
involved in computer servicing and the specifics of
hardware upgrades.
3. CompTIA A+ -- Hardware and
Software Courses.
